CRACK!
i love a good lightning storm
loud crashes
torrential rain
booming thunder
the night sky glows bright
in an instant
then a loud bang
fills the air
the immensity
the power
the danger
the creation groans
waiting for the day
the Son returns
His face appearing
like lightning
rumbles of thunder
accompany His arrival

Storms while safe in my house are good, but one time it was so loud, I dropped to the floor. 👀

I love thunderstorms. I love listening to them from inside, especially as I fall asleep. I love how they cool the weather down after days of searing heat.
I grew up in Florida where we had some epic thunderstorms almost every afternoon.

I love thunderstorms too. They kept warning us that something big was coming, but so far, all we’ve had are a few dramatic little summer showers. 🙂
