Check out the cover design of my latest poetry chapbook, “Together, Apart and the Road to Recovery”!
What do you think?!
I finished up the manuscript of the new chapbook this weekend and set a release date: May 28, 2021. This would be great reading over the long Memorial Day weekend (wink, wink). The collection more than 60 original poems on love, loss, grief and recovery.
All this week, I will be previewing some of the final poems that made it into the collection. Many of the poems have appeared here previously on my blog, but now for the first time, you can get an eBook or paperback version of the chapbook.
After I publish the final version of the book on May 28, those poems that I have published here in their preliminary form will be removed and can only be found in their new book form!
In the next 24 to 72 hours, “Together, Apart and the Road to Recovery” will be available to pre-order for only $3.99 on Amazon. Stay tuned!
Look forward to reading it.

Congratulations 🎊 quick question. If I publish a book on Amazon, and the content of my book are mostly available previously as blog posts, am I obligated to remove them for copyright purposes? Or will you remove your poems as a choice?

Thanks… as the author I own all the copyrights to my poetry. I can post them, share them, and re-publish them as I like. Typically, I remove them on my site to incentivize would-be buyers to read something that isn’t available anywhere else.

That makes sense. I mean why would they buy it if it’s available for free elsewhere, right? Unless they really want a paperback copy.

Because I have 9 books on Amazon, 8 of which are only available on Amazon but 1 of which has content that is also available as blog posts on wordpress. Must I remove those blog posts?

No, because you are still retain all the copyrights even after publishing them as a book on Amazon.
