“Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare think.” -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Creativity is not something meant to be hoarded.
We create because we must create. There is some empowering and satisfying drive in us to create something new, to make something no one’s ever seen before, to find a new way of expressing ourselves.
One of the main reasons I love blogging is that I get to share what I created with the world. I share it with fellow bloggers, writers and poets. I share it with friends and family. I share it with complete strangers living in different countries halfway around the world.
Sharing what I create forms new relationships, new connections, new ideas about what is most important, what is universal, what makes a difference with others.
Thank you, all of you, who come here regularly to follow my latest poem, or musing about the world, or even to hear about my newest favorite book I read. Sharing our human experience is an important part of living. I am appreciative that I can share my experience with you.
