Changing Aspens in the Fall / Photo by Jason A. Muckley © 2018

Summer is ending
The heat recedes
School buses rumbling
And school bells ring
Local pools close their doors
Camps and cabins fall still
Cool breeze stirs the leaves
Longer days shrink
Green and vibrant
Fade to yellow
Brilliant red and orange
Harvest ripe for reaping
Vacations come to an end
Play to work
New challenges
Welcomed by the Fall
