Summer is ending
The heat recedes
School buses rumbling
And school bells ring
Local pools close their doors
Camps and cabins fall still
Cool breeze stirs the leaves
Longer days shrink
Green and vibrant
Fade to yellow
Brilliant red and orange
Harvest ripe for reaping
Vacations come to an end
Play to work
New challenges
Welcomed by the Fall

I enjoy autumn so much, my favorite season. Usually in Ohio, we can marvel at this season for a bit longer than in Montana. We might have to wait for autumn’s arrival as we have been experiencing a heat wave.
