Awww…. I’ve had a nice break.

It was a satisfying rest.

I enjoyed spending time off, unplugged from the rest of the world, out in the wild without any cares except that the fire is big enough to cook my meal and to warm me for the next few hours, and enough firewood to sustain it until bedtime under the stars.

I got some very good time to process things, to reflect on the past, present and future, and a plot a course for what’s next.

Then after the time off, I was on full-time watching the kids. We had a fun fourth of July, celebrating America’s Independence, and had a fun, restful weekend together.
