“Keep your face always towards the sunshine-and shadows will fall behind you.” -Walt Whitman

I love this quote from Walt Whitman. Living a lifestyle of positivity, always having a positive outlook, no matter what you go through, affects everything else in your life.

For me, I believe in God, who is always looking out for me, whom I can trust in every circumstance. I truly believe in God’s sovereignty, His hand that does not cause all things, but can and will lead me through every one of life’s challenges. He is always trustworthy even when I don’t like to walk through some of the hard parts of this life or don’t understand them.

He is always there right besides me. He walks with me through pain and loss and I can turn to Him with anything I am facing. He is a counselor, a comforter, a father, and a friend.

I know in every situation that I don’t have to worry. I don’t have to be afraid. I don’t have to hide. I can walk in the light. I can be free.
