I can’t save you
I never could
I have my own mess
My own struggle
My own sin
No matter how hard I tried
I always failed
I wasn’t meant to save you
There’s only one who can
And it’s not me

That’s probably one of the hardest lessons we have to learn–that we can’t be Jesus for anyone.

We put way too much stock in humans, the tangible. I’ve been guilty of allowing a person to stand in the place of Holy Spirit. And it will always leave a void, until we get our priorities straight. ❤️❤️❤️ I loved this.

Beautiful. And agree with Somewhere sea – that this is one of the hardest lessons to learn. Either that we cannot be “Jesus for anyone”, or in turn, that they cannot be that for us.

Thanks Katharine… I had to learn this the hard way.

Mmm yes!! I love this! So painfully sad but so true! I feel like I’m still learning this lesson over and over again 😏

It’s my first time through this lesson and I am hopeful I won’t have to learn it again 😀
