I Can’t Save You #Poetry

I can’t save you
I never could
I have my own mess
My own struggle
My own sin
No matter how hard I tried
I always failed
I wasn’t meant to save you
There’s only one who can
And it’s not me

  1. We put way too much stock in humans, the tangible. I’ve been guilty of allowing a person to stand in the place of Holy Spirit. And it will always leave a void, until we get our priorities straight. ❤️❤️❤️ I loved this.

  2. Beautiful. And agree with Somewhere sea – that this is one of the hardest lessons to learn. Either that we cannot be “Jesus for anyone”, or in turn, that they cannot be that for us.
