there’s a difference
between waiting for the unknown
and waiting the known
when you see something
on the horizon
coming straight towards you
and it is a long way off
the anticipation feels like it could break you
you can prepare
get ready for what is to come
even when you feel like it
can’t come soon enough
but waiting for the unknown
there’s no anticipation
it may never come
you can’t prepare for something unknown
with the known
there is vision
you can see it
you know it is real
there is hope
there is a dream
there is excitement
the known changes
past
present
future
