But what is grief, if not love persevering?
Vision on WandaVision
This was a cool line.
So, I enjoy the Marvel movies and shows as much as the next man (or woman). I enjoy the funny lines and thrilling action. The plotlines suck me in. It took me about four episodes to really get drawn in to the new Marvel show streaming on Disney+ “WandaVision.”
This line though about grief. Wow! Wanda Maximoff is reliving some childhood traumas late in the show when she has a flashback of a time before Wanda and Vision were together when he dropped this amazingly insightful line.
I think there is a lot of truth in this line too. I think going through the different phases of grief your emotions and feelings and reactions in certain scenarios, the grief is a reaction to a circumstance you may not like or it might bring up feelings that make your whole body tense or sob uncontrollably. That grief is touching a part of you–deep inside of you–sometimes a lost love, sometimes a painful memory, and sometimes a regret that you can’t go back to fix or change.
That grief is pointing back to something deep in your heart that is hurting. Acknowledge that place inside.
That is a very powerful line Jason, thank you for sharing it.
