Hope everyone had a restful weekend and day off for Labor Day! This is the litany of warnings we had here in Colorado this weekend, all amidst the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Thankfully the “snow” today was pretty mild. It was more like sleet that became rain the second it hit the pavement. It made for a messy first day of school though.
This too shall pass!

Have to say, not missing it. After 34 years living in Colorado, we are enjoying our new life down here in Florida. We were at the beach yesterday and we even saw a dolphin! Praying for you all. Colorado will always be in my heart. God bless!

Nice! I grew up in Florida. I dont mind missing the year-round heat and humidity if a couple months here are hot and smoky. 🙂

Oh my gosh! Colorado has the craziest weather I’ve ever encountered. I just moved from the Springs this year. Hope everyone stays safe 🙏🌨

Haha Katy! I was hiking down there before the fires got worse on Saturday. You could barely stay outside for half an hour on Sunday or Monday. It was almost 100 degrees. The high today is like 35 degrees.

The heat index here in North Carolina was 107 degrees last week. I thought I would melt! Too bad a bit of the snow could just be transferred here to lower the temp. Weather is always a bit wacky, though no matter where we live. At least today it is cooler!

I do live here. 🙂 lol It was in the 90s yesterday with forest fire smoke and ash falling out of the sky. Today, freezing temperatures and snow. But… That is Colorado for you. 🙂 I teach school and today was our first day. Indoor recess on the first day. Crazy! I still love Colorado!

Yeah.. Colorado’s weather is crazy. My kids’ first day of school was today after a couple of weeks of remote school. Hopefully this storm puts out the fires.
