“The through line from Donald’s early destructive behavior that Fred (Trump) actively encouraged to the media’s unwillingness to challenge him and the Republican party’s willingness to turn a blind eye to the daily corruption he has committed since January 20, 2017 have led to the impending collapse of this once great nation’s economy, democracy, and health.”
-Mary L. Trump, Ph.D., Too Much and Never Enough
Mary L. Trump, the niece of Donald Trump is a clinical psychologist. She has a Ph.D. and she was born into both a stupendously wealthy and dysfunctional family. In her tell-all family memoir, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” she details the upbringing of her father, Fred Trump, Jr. and his siblings, Maryanne, Robert, and Donald, the 45th president of the United States.
Her book is a fascinating look at Donald Trump, his father and family patriarch, Fred Trump, and the psychological development of the family roles each member played in their dysfunctional family. It was so interesting to see her perspective on the real estate empire that Fred Sr. built and how he used his wealth to “prop up” his self-aggrandizing son, Donald into the businessman he became.
I have read a few other investigative journalism books about Donald Trump and the daily corruption he gets away with. So little scrutiny is paid to his actions that have no consequence. No one held him accountable to his lies, his racism, his bigotry, until it was too late. He became too powerful that no one could tell him, “No!” and it actually mean anything. The failed impeachment, the toothless Mueller Report, and the lack of leadership he has displayed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that has resulted in no consequence to his office, all further empower his sociopathic behaviors.
The only thing left to do is vote him out of office. Then hope and pray that he accepts his defeat.
And if he doesn’t, force him out.

We have to vote him out in November!

I agree Jason. The greatest tool for change in a democratic republic is through free and open elections. And yes, voting by mail is safe and secure as Colorado demonstrates over and over.
