The throngs are milling about
The groundhog scurries out
The weather warming
The rodent performing
Spring’s coming rejoiced with a shout

This is marvelously fun! I completely forgot Groundhog Day this year…and that is a blessing, as it’s the anniversary of my divorce in 1978 (which wasn’t funny back then, but amuses me to tell, these days :)).

I also posted on Groundhog’s Day. I was wondering how the tradition came about. If the groundhog sees his shadow, meaning there’s sun, it means 6 more weeks of winter. It doesn’t make sense. Do you understand it?
