I did this doodle while on the phone, waiting on hold. I guess there are some good things that can coming out of “waiting.” 😉
This is not a specific flower in particular. It is a sketch on printer paper in blue ink. The cheapest kind of pen you can find/use. I am thankful that it didn’t flow out unevenly.
I used lots of small, simple strokes employing different shading techniques.
What do you think?

It reminds me of the “truffula trees” in the Dr. Seuss book (and movie), The Lorax. I like it.

Interesting pic. I’m not sure whether to think of it as a voluptuous peony or a topiary-type of tree! But I do like the shadow effect behind it.

Jason, your artistic eye far exceeds mine. My doodling works better with geometric shapes in more of a two -dimensional view . . . my concrete-sequential mind at work. Please continue posting your artwork. God’s peace!
