“I’m a romantic.”
“…and I am a poet.”
“Kiss me.”
Our lips touch
Barely
A sensation spreads
From the delicate
Touch of our lips
All over my face
Down to my fingers
Then through my chest
Warming my heart
Our toes touch
And our bodies spin
Around in unison
As the kiss extends
I open my eyes
To gaze upon your face
Enraptured in the moment
Transported out of body
To a distant land
Where only we are
I close my eyes again
To join you there

Oh my goodness. This is so completely beautiful, Jason. ☺️ I could see the two of them clearly. That’s the magic of writing and the magic of humanity I suppose, hey. ☺️
Thanks Brooke! It came to me in a dream… 🌠
Amazing! I’d like to order a dream like that, please! Ha ha ha 😂☺️
Haha… I’d like to order another one too 😁
A wonderful dream! Well crafted images fill this poem.
