I loved you so much
I didn’t know what to do
I couldn’t help you
The things I tried didn’t look like love
I am sorry
But I did love you
I was a mess
Helpless and hopeless without a clue
This is the result of that broken love
I don’t want to go back
The love is all gone
I only have today
Stepping toward tomorrow
I needed help that I never got
The distorted perspective
Is clear now
I see things as they were
All that remains is acceptance
Love lost and gone forever
