It’s kind of a rite of passage in my home for my little ones to be read A. A. Milne’s classic tale of a boy and his teddy bear.
We read “Winne-the-Pooh,” to our oldest in Kindergarten, and I’ve started listening to the wonderful treasure with my middle child at four-and-a-half.
We have a lot of driving from childcare to home and I like to engage the children’s brains as much as possible. When I listed off some of children’s stories available, Winnie-the-Pooh was the undeniable victor.
The audiobook performed by Peter Dennis with sound effects and an animated voice draws the listeners into the adventures of the Hundred Acre Wood with Christopher Robin, Pooh Bear, Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger and the rest of the gang.
These enthralling stories are ones I can read (or listen to) over and over, along with their other accompanying volumes.
