The Philip K Dick Collection

Philip K. Dick’s work explored philosophical, social, and political themes, with stories dominated by monopolistic corporations, alternative universes, authoritarian governments, and altered states of consciousness. His writing also reflected his interest in metaphysics and theology, and often drew upon his life experiences in addressing the nature of reality, identity, drug abuse, schizophrenia, and transcendental experiences.

Dick authored a number of novels that were later adapted to film including: Blade Runner (based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?), Total Recall, Minority Report, and A Scanner Darkly. Dick was inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame in 2005.

The collection is free for a limited time. The main drawbacks of collections like these that are either free or deeply discounted was the publishing quality can be at times sub-standard, but hey, it is free after all. A link to the eBook is here.
