Leonardo da Vinci #Inspiration

Leonardo da Vinci’s celebrated life shows the power of a curious mind.

He was born yesterday, April 15, 1452.

His interests included invention, drawing, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography.

When someone is called a “Renaissance man,” it is a reference to da Vinci’s genius in a number of fields.

Da Vinci developed many plans and inventions of things that were previously unimagined. Things like a self-propelling cart, a precursor to the automobile, the bicycle, the helicopter and other ideas for air travel were all inventions he developed more than 500 years ago!

Not only was he an ingenious inventor, but his paintings of Mona Lisa and The Last Supper are two of the most famous in the world.

He also made advances in anatomy, which he used for improve his art work. Talk about doing everything possible to advance your work to its limits.

Mona Lisa is probably the most celebrated and intriguing figure in all of art history. Leonardo da Vinci immortalized in his painting, making her the most famous woman in art of all time.
