Painting with My Kiddos #Art #Abstract #Parenting

Nights I get to paint with my kids are some of my favorite nights. My youngest goes to bed an hour before my second oldest child and it gives us just enough precious time to do a few canvases before bedtime.

I love what they came up with tonight. My oldest had a “prophetic word” while painting from God about Moses and the burning bush and for her that God would speak to her in different ways but each would confirm the other “path.”

While I don’t usually connect with God personally in that way when I paint, I do believe it is “spiritual,” the times I individually or with my kids paint or make another type of creative endeavor. It definitely brings me into a mindset of peace and rest at minimum.

Now, back to the works of art. The paintings the kiddos made were so good, you might even confuse theirs with mine. I am posting two I made and one of each that my four- and eight-year-old produced. As a proud Daddy, can you see the resemblance of their art and mine? I love being a dad! 😁

Can you guess which are mine and which are theirs? Share your guesses in the comments.

  1. Nice work from all of you! Hi think I like #1 the most. And my guess is 2 and 4 are from your kiddos. Kudos to you for sharing valuable time and interests with your kids. You’re an amazing dad. πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
