I had some free time last night to create some new works of abstract art. I was trying my hand at some layering and blending of different colors. I like what came out of it.

The main reason I paint is because it brings me joy and satisfaction. Others may not think I have created anything worthwhile but I do. I care about what I create. I create things for me.

I want to be able to find as many things to create as I can. I love trying new techniques and tinkering with designs. I even found a DIY moon lamp that I bookmarked to make later.

I like to share what I create here because it is a safe place. We have made a community where we can share our works of art without ridicule or fear of someone trampling all over it. Thank you all for your part in creating this safe environment that people can enjoy one another and what they bring to the table.

  4. Jason, you are right on with saying that we have a community here that respects our art and writing with compassion and care. My favorite is #1 because I found something inviting me into the layered depths of color, which I enjoyed.
