Fasting
Before intravenous sedation
Focuses the mind
On the unknown
What will I feel afterwards
How long will recovery be
Will I feel anything while I sleep
Will I dream
What if I wake up before it’s over
Will the surgery be a success
What if something happens
What if I don’t wake up
What would my wife do

  1. I was freaked out with many of these same thoughts recently before being put out for my wisdom tooth surgery since it was the first time I had ever been put out for anything. Luckily, it went smoothly and I didn’t remember a thing!!!
