my art has languished
i am unmotivated
to create
the work
to put in
exceeds
the end result
before
i had no expectations
of my art
it was a release
an outlet
but now
it feels like work
more to do
more energy exhausted
i want to create
the way i used to
for fun
for me
i don’t know
if i can
if i will
the work of art

Totally been there! Things used to flow much more easily. But I have come to value the process (like last night – the two hours without any final product and hardly a start). Still we are keeping the art alive and honing our craft but just being faithful to write. Keep it up, Jason!
