one day
the leaves are bright red
a golden yellow
an orange elysian
the next
the trees are bare
the sky is gray
the cold has returned

Nice poem, I like it! Enjoy the fall and have a good weekend!

Oh, please don’t rush the leaves off the trees! I’m doing all I can to savor every moment. Disc golfing yesterday, I just stopped and watched the leaves gently fall before hurling my disc…straight into a tree. I love fall, but the shift into winter…that’s not exactly as pleasant.

I love disc golf! All my leaves have fallen 😔 I couldn’t find my driveway the other day. Snow is in store for us this weekend. Low of 27 tonight

Ugh! Here in Western, PA, we’ve had low 70s and beautiful weather, so no rain storms to strip the trees. Taking time to savor it now that my son’s soccer season is over.

Very nice; simple but effective. A lot of the time, the shortest, simplest poems describe nature best.
