life is so fragile
yet we feel all of it
euphoria
pain
grief
abandonment
rejection
shame
anger
we contain so much ability to feel
yet our lives are so fleeting
holding on to pieces
parts of others
that connection is so tenuous
but its meaning is so momentous
pieces of others
parts holding us together
