the construct dissolves
as memory recreates
the space
that once was
the future is built on the past
time is cumulative
every moment
another line in the story
told today
even when the remembering
is false
the experience
remains
a time and place
a part of you

Yeah, that has happened to me. I smell a perfume and then I immediately think of an ex-girlfriend who used to wear it.
