I was in a mood tonight
it wasn’t really punchy
something more like chirpy
a touch of overtired
with some energy to burn
maybe I was chipper
but it didn’t really fit
I was tweet tweeting
no filter – making jokes inside my head
as I awaited your response
hoping to see that lovely smile
back upon your face
