This was an interesting one. I started off trying to paint one thing and it didn’t come out anything like I was thinking. Then later looking at the finished work I actually like it.

The name is a little misleading but adds some intrigue to the observer.

At first I thought that the upper part was a tranquil night with a moon. Then I studied what seemed to be ocean waves which did not look tranquil but in constant motion. What exactly is tranquillity, anyway. Must it mean lack of motion, or maybe it could suggest the tranquility that viewing the artwork brings to the soul. I like it!
