Happy New Year! Welcome to 2022!
I have high hopes for this new year we are starting. Despite what is going on in the world and all the negative news, I am still hopeful!
I believe 2022 will be a year to remember.
I had the day off for New Year’s Eve today and I got some much needed R&R putting together my 1000-piece Star Wars puzzle, watching a favorite movie from the early 2000s, and listening to the new Thrawn novel by Timothy Zahn on audiobook. It was a great New Year’s Eve staying in, enjoying some hygge comforts, and staying out of the very cold weather here.
And guess what?! The weekend is just getting started. I hope you can enjoy the weekend, reflect on 2021 and find something fun to do as you embrace the new year.

Oh wow..
I started a Monet jigsaw and hope to finish it before the holiday ends.

that is one cool puzzle. My dad would spend hours on huge puzzles, outside, in his man shed, in the heat. He loved them so much. Puzzles however drive me crazy.

Writing poetry, usually, senryu refreshes me, condenses my thoughts. I have spent this 2nd day of the year doing that and resting. Resting is much underrated in this manic world. ❌❤🦊❌❤🦊
