Sometimes I don’t pick up your toys
I know you won’t be here all week
But I don’t want to disturb the world you made
I want to leave it just like it is
For you
For your return
Your home is still here even when you are not
Just as you left it
I miss you every day you aren’t here
But life goes on
For me and for you
It is different here when you are there
But I am getting used to it
I doubt I will ever get used to it
