Miles Morales is back.

In 2018, Sony Pictures brought to life on the Silver Screen a completely different kind of animated superhero movie that was closer to the source material comic books than ever before with “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” They introduced a myriad of parallel universes with countless versions of Spider-Man from different eras in different cultures for something that was completely unique compared to everything that had gone before it.

It introduced interesting new characters in Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Peter B. Parker, Spider-Ham, Peni Parker among others.

This week Sony Pictures released a new “first look” trailer for the next installment of that series, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part 1.”

The movie is projected to be released in October 2022 and if it is anything like the first, it will be an amazing new chapter in the story of Spider-Man. Based on the trailer, it already looks sick!
