“I like talking to you. Would you be willing to get together to talk some time?”
That feels like an IMPOSSIBLE statement to utter
It is completely honest
It hides nothing
It isn’t misleading
There are no ulterior motives
If it goes well, ask her to get together again
Why does something that simple
Feel so hard to do?
It is personal
It is intimate
It is one-on-one
It is what I really want
I am genuinely interested in finding out who you are
I want to know more about you
What do you say?
