“Skunk and Badger” by Amy Timberlake was delightful! It was a children’s fantasy book about a badger who is used to things his way and then a skunk who shows up unexpectedly.

This was a great book for kids and teaching them about personal space and boundaries, but also about adapting to changing situations, like having a baby sister, or interpersonal relationships with friends or siblings. There was also some good places to examine respect for one another and empathy.

I really enjoyed this book and so did my kids. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series due out sometime in 2021! The targeted age group for this book is 6-8 years old, however my 10-year-old and my 3-and-a-half-year-old both loved it too!
