Let’s leave the past behind
but not forget to be thankful
A history of two lives
diverging apart
The memories are real
there was joy and happiness
Moments not soon forgotten
times to appreciate
even after it’s all said
and done.

I love that. I’m applying it on a personal level between a friend and I that parted ways. Moments shared should certainly be cherished.
