Bob Goff, New York Times bestselling author, adjunct professor at Pepperdine Law School, Honorary Consul for the Republic of Uganda, wrote a new book about doing an inventory of your ambition and then putting into motion a plan to make your dreams come true.
Goff has previously written two wildly popular bestsellers, Love Does and Everybody, Always both of which I devoured. His newest book, “Dream Big” is an action plan of how to move from the couch to living out your greatest dreams. He talks about the need for vetting of your ambitions through God’s Word and trusted friends and family members, about overcoming obstacles that stand in the way of you fulfilling your dreams, and finally how to “land the plane,” and go for it.
I really enjoyed this book, an adaptation from a seminar he regularly hosts by the same name where he empowers those who attend to take the next steps to finding their purpose and living out their lives to the fullest. This book is a great book to read right before the end of the year when people are given a natural time to reflect and make resolutions about what they will change in the future. This is a fast read that could change your life.
