Healing takes time
There’s no rush
It’s not a competition
Let go of the past
Grab onto the present
Look to the future
Each person deals with it
in their own way
Recognize where you are at
Work through it
Do what’s right for you
Do what you need to do

Hi Jason, This poem so resonated with me I wanted to share it, so have re-blogged it. My grief is 22yrs old, still there. 🙂👩🦰❤

I would take a chance
a moment
to say my thanks
to you…a friend…for such a reminder
because many times, we wanna rush
because of losing certain things
but like…hush, hush, hush, hush…
new things are happening…new happenings
and you just need to be patient
because it is a process of healing
of mending
what is needed
to learn and discover
as well as to experience again and remember
that certain things take time
and nothing is lost
but only progression
and this is my message in this section.

Wise and true. It is a process for certain, and a very individual one. I hope all is well for you.
