I like this little dude better than yesterday’s sketch. I wasn’t particularly “trying” to make anything at first. Those are my favorite doodles. They don’t start out as anything much. There’s the messy middle where I absolutely hate what I am drawing, and finally something comes into focus.

This little dude is part fancy, part abstract animal.

I call him “Smiling Beast.” What do you think?
