I just watched “Instant Family” streaming free on Amazon Prime and I loved it! It is a funny and heart-warming story of a husband and wife who flips houses for a living who gets an idea to adopt a child.

The film stars Rose Byrne as Ellie and Mark Wahlberg as Pete along with Octavia Spencer, Isabela Merced, among others. It was directed by Sean Anders and written by Anders and John Morris.

The story gives a positive view of adoption with the joys and struggles of adoption and how no two families are the same. I loved how it doesn’t sugar-coat anything and throughout each step in the process both the parents and children face real-life challenges entailed with adoption.
