there is a worship of the heart
it doesn’t involve words
but there’s a melding of souls
a reaching out
longing
to connect
to know you deeper
there is a worship of silence
a stillness – waiting
being present to your presence
drawn into nearness
wave after wave pouring over me
filling me up with your spirit
becoming whole
as you renew every part of me
and I respond in worship

“Faith & Doubt” was a poetry project that combined several years of journey with God through the ups and downs of life. This collection was about my own odyssey with God through some of life’s toughest circumstances and coming through to the other side. It is broken into three sections: Faith, Doubt, and then my own personal revelation of God as Immanuel, or “God with us,” the Hebrew word for the Messiah in the Old Testament.
