This was a really fun science book! “What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions” by Randall Munroe was an interesting read. Munroe is the creator of xkcd.com, a comics and science-question-answering “blog” site. He is a former NASA scientist with a sharp mind and a good wit about him.

Each chapter is a short “essay” answering science questions that visitors have submitted on his blog. These are fun to read one after another, that gets addicting, or one at a time, pondering the various effects of different unusual scenarios that “could” happen.

It was an easy, quick read that was funny and thought-provoking. I recommend it for the curious mind that has ever had questions about science and “what-if” scenarios.
