“My Hands Are Open,” from Bethel’s new album, Revival’s In The Air, is another favorite song of mine. It feel like it is an anthem of how I am trying to live my day’s recently. It is all about living with “open hands.” The idea is found in Job 1:21:
And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Job 1:21 (ESV)
It is the idea that we open our hands for the Lord to fill them and we surrender to Him and His plan to do with us His will. We hold loosely to what we have and we entrust all things to Him.

“My Hands Are Open” Lyrics by Bethel Music:
Verse 1
I wanna move so you can move
Come and do what only you can do
I wanna live in expectation
Of Your kingdom breaking through
Chorus
My hands are open
My heart is free
Open the heavens
Rain down on me
Fall down on me
Verse 2
I wanna come to You in boldness
By Your power I receive
I wanna live in expectation
With You I’ll do greater things
I believe in greater things
Bridge
Till all that overwhelms
Is overwhelmed by You
And every soul has seen
What You can do
A holy visitation
Where everything is changing
There’s no empty spaces
When You move
