Here is my review of Keegan’s collection of poetry:

Eric Keegan’s poetry chapbook, “Strange Cars in the Night,” is a mesmerizing collection of poetry related to cars, driving, and road trips. It has a dizzying edge to it and would be a fun read-aloud during your next road trip with friends.

One of my favorite poems, “Certificate of Title” goes like this:

Strange days
Strange cars
Strange nights,

Stray stars.

– Eric Keegan, Certificate of Title

I love Keegan’s style and the stories he weaves through his verse. They are both interesting and unique. Some of my favorite poems besides the poem shared above include: A Space So Delicately Confined, Cephalopod Similitude, Point of Fact, Travel Mug, Some Anxieties Never Leave, Drawing Board, and Let’s Not Play Games.

I enjoyed how Keegan weaved pop culture books, songs, and other Americana about the road into his work. Check out this collection! It is well worth the read.
