He is Able to Do Immeasurably More Than We Can Imagine #Inspiration #Journey

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. -Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV)

Most of the time our prayers are too small. We pray with lowered expectations, just in case we don’t get what we are asking for or what we get doesn’t line up with what we were hoping for.

I think at times this could be from unmet expectations with our worldly relationships with parents, siblings, friends, etc. Everyone has been let down or disappointed by someone at one time or another in their life.

When you come to the Lord, your heavenly Father, you don’t have to come to him with the fear of disappointment. Approach Him with both openness, a willingness to dialogue with Him and see what He feels about you and your prayers and your needs, and expectation, you can count on His character, unfailing, trustworthy, good, generous, loving, kind.

God wants to come through for you in an incredible way. He is not holding out on you. He loves you and He has good plans in store for your life.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. -Hebrews 4:16 (NLT)

This verse is about prayer. Boldly, with confidence, approach the Lord with your requests, when you fall down, when life falls apart all around you, cry out to Him. He will hear you and respond with mercy and grace. He will meet you in your time of need. He is faithful.
