It has been too long
Lives diverge
The bonds connecting us
Faded with time
But now you’re here
Coffee in hand
And years to recount
Different lives on different paths
Converging back together

Nice poem. There’s not enough “convergence” around so that short window between the brim and the bottom of the coffee cup is always a great place to start.
