“Art has the power to render sorrow beautiful, make loneliness a shared experience, and transform despair into hope.” -Brené Brown, Braving the Wilderness
I love this quote. Throughout the past year I have been writing about my pain and sorrow and grief. For the sake of art and for the sake of those going through similar circumstances, I will to continue to write. There is beauty in the pain and loss. It is refreshing to share the burden of the hurt. When people around me hear my words and relate and encourage me (and others), the entire community is lifted up.
I cannot suffer in silence. It must come out. The beautiful thing is that it is exactly what is needed. In most cases, most people would keep quiet, refuse to open up, pretend that nothing bothers them. That is where the lie is. That is where isolation exists.
What are you going through? What do you want to share?
I won’t judge. I am not perfect. We need each other.

I will surely look into those. I’m up to my neck in Indies right now, but I love good books. Thank you for the recommendation and the sample of her work. I really love it.

Rumi wrote, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” Perhaps the art and beauty that arise from pain are that Light being shared.

Really beautifully said. I too am a huge fan of Brené Brown but I love your own words here as well, these especially:

Just wonderful. And what the blog world should be about. Lovely post 🙏😊
