“For everything you gain, you lose something.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Change is hard.

Change costs you something.

It is oftentimes the cost of losing something familiar, something that you care about, or even something you feel like you could never let go of, that keeps you stuck doing the same thing with the same results.

Sometimes though, change is necessary. Despite the pain and uncomfortable feelings, it is necessary.

What do you need to let go of to move forward?

What things need to die so that you can live the life you were meant for?

Take Mr. Emerson’s words above to heart. There is no progress without leaving something else behind.
