The first trailer for the upcoming, newest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, “Little Women” on the big screen was just released.
The film has a Christmas Day release date (December 25, 2019) and stars Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep and Laura Dern, among others. It is directed by Greta Gerwig.
This classic novel is a favorite of mine to read with my two older girls. I am excited to see this new adaptation this Christmas.
It has been 25 years since beloved classic novel was featured on the big screen with Gillian Armstrong’s adaptation, which came out in 1994. That film starred Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, Gabriel Byrne, and Christian Bale.
I just saw it this morning, already have it marked on my calendar!😀
