I haven’t read the book yet as I just downloaded the pdf version of the book today, but I can tell you one thing, Donald Miller can write! He has written some amazing books in the past such as, “Blue Like Jazz,” “A Million Miles in a Thousand Years,” “Searching for God Knows What,” “Scary Close,” and a handful of other wildly successful books that connect with readers and spur them on to greater depths in their own lives.

I have read many of Donald Miller’s books in the past and I have enjoyed every single one of them. Despite being a popular and successful writer and advocate for change, he comes across in his books as a humble guy, still trying to figure things out. What is so cool about his stories is that he does just that throughout the duration of his book: figures stuff out. He gets to the bottom of why he feels what he feels and what he will do about it next. What a cool approach. Processing the parts of his life before the entire world to see and then taking the next steps needed to move forward.

I hope that some of his “style” comes across in my poetry and blog posts I share here 🙂
