What do you think? How did it turn out?
I’m partial to my oldest daughter’s version.
As you can see, she paid close attention to detail with all the items she included. There are lots of parts of the original painting you can miss if you aren’t looking closely at it. This was a fun exercise for both of us that I believe helps us to appreciate the original that much more.

So do I… Thanks Kristian! I’d recommend the movie that came out last year called “At Eternity’s Gate” starring Willem Dafoe as van Gogh if you haven’t seen it already

That’s good to know. I remember watching the trailer and thinking William Dafoe makes a perfect Vincent!! I watched the made for TV movie “Painted With Words,” with Benedict Cumberbatch. It was interesting.

It wasn’t bad, but I’m a big fan of Mr. Cumberbatch. Lol. It was nothing to write home about though. I’m sure “At Eternity’s Gate” is better.

Wow! It turned out very wonderful. It has something on it that others art don’t have. The bond that you have with your daughter explains everything in that drawing. Art explains a lot. It’s very nice Jason.
